Hey, I’m Jonas.
I am a software developer from Potsdam. Primarily Angular and Spring Boot — of all things — at work and Rust1 at home.
I write extensively in my Obsidian vault and this site is the place where some of those notes-to-myself turn into fleshed out posts. So far that’s a post about Apple being mad at the EU and complaining about the ending of Far Cry 5, which should give a good idea about the direction this is heading, right?

This website is built with 11ty and hosted on the Cloudflare Pages free tier.
Cloudflare offers Git integration, meaning deployment works via a simple git push. It will also build previews of the website for Github pull requests — quite nifty for drafts.
This site is ad-free and contains no trackers. I do not include external resources. The favicons I use for links are snapshots I created and host myself.
The stylesheet is hand written and historically grown. I use minimal — and entirely optional — Javascript to make the theme switcher and footnote modal work.
The markup on this site follows the advice of “This website has no class” by Adam Stoddard. I would not recommend looking at the horror that I created. My estimation is that I fall in the “varied levels of frontend knowledge” category Adam mentions.
Posts are authored in Markdown with some extensions written by myself. I have a full demonstration of all the features my site supports.
I tried my hardest to make this site as accessible as possible. If you find any issues, please let me know.
